Posh Pots, got yours yet?

I'm so excited about what just arrived here in the mail for the Out Of The Box Sampler's upcoming February Valentine's Boxes! There are 2 huge boxes filled with goodies from a new Etsy business called Posh Pots! I was completely blown away by their packaging first of all and then by the actual sample itself. Well, it doesn't really qualify as a sample. There are full size treats and they sent in 80 of them!! Let me tell you about a little something about these...

These adorable boxes are called " Tea Party To Go. They include an assorment of teas, fancy sugar, Starbucks tea cookies, a pretty napkin with ribbon, a peppermint puff and a sweet note. All you need is the hot water. I don't know about you, but I settle in every evening, after the boys have all been tucked in their beds, to a hot steaming cup of tea. It's a nightly ritual for me, and is my way of soothing the events of the day before bedtime. Just looking at this cute box makes me already feel pampered.

Or if you like to end your day with a long hot soak in the tub and then a cup of tea, you'll have to get their Lavender Dreams Bath Box. It is filled with a creamy handmade lavender soap dressed up with glittery netted ribbon, a small but powerful and cute lavender sachet for a drawer or your car and finally a lovely Posh Pillow bath sachet. The Posh Pillow for your bath is a delightful and fully fragrant medium size organza bag filled with organic lavender, secret salts and curly citrus peel. After your decadent bath treat yourself to a hot cup of lavender tea with a chunky french cut sugar cube! And again you just add hot water! Lori, the owner, refers to this box as a $10 vacation and I'd say I have to agree with her!

How adorable are these! These come in flavors of Lavender Green Tea or Buttercookie gourmet coffee. Or go with their 2 Post Pot Caramel Cookie Decaf Coffee. Either way, I'm sure your friends will be impressed the next time they stop by.

There are other items you'll find pleasing in their Etsy shoppe that are truly unique and definitely worth adding to your list of must buys. The tea boxes and one posh pots would be perfect for shower favors too. They are so reasonably priced and well put together that you can't go wrong.

Tragic Loss, please help

My heart is sad today as I have just found that my friend, Dana from Magick Moon Soapwurks, has lost her husband this past weekend.

He passed away on Saturday morning from an apparent heart attack. He was just 45 years old and leaves behind Dana, his wife, and his 2 sons, Aaron & Kaleb.

Dana has become a true friend over the past year that I have known her. She's been a constant contributor to the Out Of The Box Sampler, as many of you have sampled her wonderful soaps, I'm sure. I feel helpless in this situation and really wanted to be able to help her in some way, deal with this loss. What makes this situation even worse, is the fact that her husband, Lawrence, did not have life insurance. I know that my "Out Of The Box Sampler" family has come thru before when we had the raffle for Erika's Make A Wish. So I'm asking you again to lend a hand because I know you all have heart's of gold.

Dana has setup a "donate" button on her website as a memorial fund to help with the costs of burying her beloved husband. If you would like to help out in some small way, please donate. You'll find here website at Magick Moon Soapwurks.
