Quickits Giveaway

Giveaway is now closed

Winners are:
#6 The Green MomSter
#10 Shooting Stars Mag

Thanks to everyone for entering!

I absolutely love this new shoppe I stumbled across on Etsy.  It's called Quickits.  But if you break that apart, it's Quick Kits.  And that's exactly what you get.  A kit for all occassions!

Quickits are conveniently packaged kits for all of life’s occasions, from everyday celebrations to special events.  You'll find these kits for mom's to be, birthdays, get well soon, sympathies, college emergencies, father of the bride, flower girls,  and so many more.

The brains behind Quickits is Karen.   She wanted a way to celebrate lifes moments in a little "to go" box kind of way.  I think it's a genius idea and definitely better then any card you can pick up at a store.

Sometimes people just need a little "pick me up" when life is coming at them hard and this let's them know you are thinking about them too.

Each quickit is packaged in a white “to go” carry-out box, and wrapped in a colorful grosgrain ribbon.  Quickits also offers the option to customize kits, the labels (with the names and dates of their wedding, etc), and the colors of the handmade ribbon belts to match your wedding or event colors.

I personally love the kit below:

They are called " a little box of hope."  This is a special edition box for those suffering thru the fight of their life.  This box is done in honor of Karen's mom, who lost her battle of 2 1/2 years to ovarian cancer.

This box contains a tea bag

a pen
a notebook
crackers
tissues
hershey hugs and kisses
life savers candies
and
“a little hope” poem

Eack box of hope is available in in your choice of cancer awareness ribbon colors. Karen will be donating 10% of the sales of these kits to the National Cancer Insititue (in your choice of cancer research) and another 10% to the Ovarian Cancer National Allance in honor of her mom.

But wait, there's more.  I have a surprise for you!  There will be mini boxes of hope in our September "think pink" breast cancer awareness Out Of The Box Samplers!  I'm so excited about this upcoming box because we will be donating a portion from every box sold that month, to the Susan G Kohmen research foundation!
Save the date, boxes go on sale Sept 7th and are filled with "think pink" themed goodies!

I hope poem that's included with this box and the one's that will be in our Sept. sampler boxes is very touching, so I wanted to share it with you here too...

sit back and relax
with a cup of tea,
take out your notebook
and write down your blessings,

if your tummy isn’t right
have a cracker or two,
and if you start to cry
dry your eyes with a tissue,

look at the smiling faces
for they will lead the way,
or have a kiss and a hug
and know you are loved every day,

for the journey you are on
may seem like a haul,
remember there is a rainbow
after the rain drops fall.

You'll definitely have to check out the Quickits shoppe and website for all the different boxes that are available for just about every occassion you'll have need of because...

This giveaway will allow you to pick a kit of your choice!

I would pick the "kid's activity" quickits - sounds like a great kit to keep a little one busy during church services...we take our 3 year old granddaughter to church every Sunday, there are many Sundays that I miss the message of God.
